"Becoming a Holy Temple In the Lord"

Ephesians 2:19 "Consequently, you are no longer foreigners and aliens, but fellow citizens with God's people and members of God's household,
20 built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, with Christ Jesus himself as the chief cornerstone.
21 In him the whole building is joined together and rises to become a holy temple in the Lord.
22 And in him you too are being built together to become a dwelling in which God lives by his Spirit."

This scripture jumped off the page at me as a picture of what God is doing at Crossroads. We are built on Christ Jesus and we are joined together as we become what God wants us to be. The Greek word for building in verse 21 is oijkodomhv which refers to edification or promoting growth. I know that I have grown a lot since coming to Crossroads.

What do you think we could do to involve more women in serving at Crossroads? Do you have ideas? Do you have needs that other women could help you find the answer to? We want to know because we want to find more and more ways to be "joined together".

So leave a comment on the blog, or give me a call, or look for me Sunday to share your thoughts!
